My service guy Steven was very helpful

Was driving through on my way home on a 14 hour trip. My truck broke down in Terrell and needed to be towed. It was towed in right before closing time and the only advisor there was very quick and efficient in getting my information and information on what my vehicle was doing. He assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem getting my truck looked at first thing in the morning and they would let me know what was going on with it. The following day I had a email and text letting me know what the problem was, and ready to fix it. The only hiccup was that they didn’t have the part in stock to fix it. The advisor quickly located the part at a nearby dealership and had it delivered. While waiting at my hotel it came checkout time and the advisor had me picked up from the hotel and brought to the dealership to wait for the tech to finish my truck. I was back on the road by 1pm and I completed the rest of my 9 hour trip with no issues from my vehicle. 10/10 would revisit and reccommend this dealership service department to anyone and everyone.

My service rep was very quick to answer my questions and get my car checked in for service. I knew it would be several hours of work so arranged to be dropped off. Work was completed. Pick up and check out was easy.

Service writer, Kenny Sien, was exceptionally helpful. Kenny showed me his willingness to guide me and helped provide the answers when others fell short.

From a customer service and workmanship perspective everything went just fine. Holistically, I bought the car and warranty from a Chevrolet dealership and had the service done at another Chevrolet dealership. It took almost a month to fix two oil leaks. Part of the delay was due to parts, another due to distrust from the warranty company that a leak existed. Everyone wants to put the blame on something they don't control. I therefore put the blame on the industry for allowing a situation to evolve into something well beyond inconvenience to its customer base.

I scheduled a service appointment that morning and stated I needed my tires checked due to an alert stating my rear tires were at 26, I also needed my 15000 mile service as well as my brakes checked. They did everything else except checking my tires. On my way home I saw that my front tires were now at 30 and back were at 35 so I know they rotated them but never checked my tires for nails. My sensor on the front right tire is now out and says it needs to be serviced. I called to confirm if they checked that stuff and he stated no they did not check my tires and to drive back up there to reset the sensor. I could not since I live 30 minutes away so I had to go to another tire shop and spend more money to get something done that should’ve already been done.

Kenny in service was very friendly and the young man that gave me a ride to and from the dealership was social and friendly as well. I enjoyed my experience with the dealership

I needed an oil change and tire rotation done for my Chevy Blazer. The service was excellent! I was given a courtesy wash as well! The service department was professional and friendly. I received help from a salesman to help me with some of the options on my Blazer that I didn't know how to do. He spent a lot of time explaining to me how to set things up. I truly appreciated that! The dealership has a lot of customer space, which is great. It has a coffee, hot chocolate and tea bar along with an area to purchase snacks and other drinks. This is by far the best dealership that I have dealt with! We have purchased many Chevrolets in our lifetime, but Platinum has been our best experience. The only thing this dealership needs is a store to purchase Chevy t-shirts, caps, cups, etc. It would be amazing if GM would make replica cars to match the ones sold (Matchbox/Hot Wheels style). I have looked for a match on my own vehicles.

1. Told the service advisor low coolant light comes on. He said they top off all the fluids with the oil change. Low coolant light still comes on after picking the vehicle up. 2. I was told my fuel filter life was at 29% so I said go ahead and replace it. I was billed for a fuel filter but it was either not replaced or they didn’t reset the dash??

Platinum Chevrolet in Terrell, TX went above and beyond with their customer service as they helped resolve the problem our vehicle started having unexpectedly back on February 22, 2025. It was quite the challenge but they never gave up trying to figure things out. After several weeks, they found the problem and replaced what needed to be replaced. Our service advisor, Shengwei Cai provided us with amazing customer service. He was communicating with us on a regular basis while our truck was in their hands. The mechanic/tech working on our truck worked hard on trying to figure out the problem Ramiro Cabrera. I will highly recommend Platinum Chevrolet!

Easy to schedule online but the Platinum Chevrolet in Terrell is not located in the app which brings over any other services needed. The whole schedule for the day was open when scheduling just 2 days prior and I could not even get them to run the code on the Check Engine Light so I could plan to return and have fixed. I was told it would take 4 days for them just to tell me what is wrong.

brought truck in because transmission was stalling/slipping, they changed torque convertor and fixed that problem. when I left with my truck the transmission now slips when changing gears.

It was quick and easy but not very personable or friendly. I have always had my oil changed at a smaller dealership with my previous vehicles and they are always out there to great you and not hiding in their cubicles.

The service team were nice and polite. The service seemed good, however, in past service visits, the tires were rotated, not just checked for pressure, also my truck was washed. I assume these services are no longer available. I called Mr. Patterson to ask about this before I responded to the review but never got a call back. I hope he was to busy to call or was out of town, cause that is just rude..

The service and parts departments have been great to deal with. Manny helped me get the tires I anted and then get a replacement when I needed one (self-inflicted tire damage). Croyx in Service got me in and was a great conversationalist as well. Platinum Chevrolet has done all the service on my Silverado and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Platinum always does a really great job when I bring my vehicle in for oil changes. This is the first time I have had to use them for a repair. In the beginning, communication was a bit lacking but once my vehicle was in, communication was great. I really appreciate Kenny and his crew taking good care of me. Especially since they had to deal with my extended warranty from an outside company.

I was charged for a tire rotation and when I booked the appt online I only selected oil change as my option. My husband also told them not to rotate and we were charged for it. I don’t appreciate the up charge, especially when I didn’t select that option and we told them we didn’t want it when we arrived.

I was in an out fast. Also was updated on all recalls an was took care of.

I have to call to see what the status of truck . Call to see when it would be ready and it was sitting out front ready no call.

Battery was not taking charge. Attempted to charge. Battery check was good. Later I was told the battery needed to be replaced. Battery was replaced. The battery had been used less that 2 years but because it was a replacement battery there was no warranty. This is my 3rd battery, Is there a problem with Delco batteries?

Juan was extremely helpful. I called him with a question after we got home and he was very polite and even sent me his phone number so I could call him direct.

I was very pleased, the drop off was smooth, and the courtesy shuttle back home convenient. I was able to carry other scheduled activities and when the service was complete (in a very timely fashion) I had a pickup shuttle to get me back to the dealer in a prompt time. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because my car was ready, and I hadnt been notified. I had to txt to ask myself! But other than that, it was amazing service and they worked to get me in!

I used to take my car in for maintenance at the same place I purchased the car at Friendly Chevrolet. And I dreaded it every time. It was chaos there, nowhere to sit, took hours for a simple oil change, had to keep checking in to see if car was even being worked on yet, you basically felt forgotten there and just another number in their busy day. About a year or so ago , I decided to try a different place. And I’ve been completely happy with my choice so far. Platinum is a clean place and relaxing and comfortable to be at while I wait. The chairs and tv are comfortable and the complimentary drinks are great! I don’t feel like another number and every time I check out, the associates are kind and personable and easy to talk to. I know this probably sounds silly, but after experiencing the “other” place for years and hating going there every time, I just really want to express how much different and better Platinum is. I’ve already told my husband, if and when we are ready to purchase a new Chevy, it will be here!

I purchased my vehicle from your dealership. The entire purchasing process was exemplary. This was my 4th visit for an oil change/tire rotation and the first three visits were exceptional. This time was a huge disappointment. I arrived at 10:25 for a 10:30 appointment. At approximately 11:35, I noticed my vehicle sitting in the service area after the service was complete. I walked to the service entry door hoping to see someone. One advisor was in his office and never offered to come see what I needed. My advisor finally called me on my cell at 11:45 telling me that my car was ready and to come to his office to get the paperwork and my keys. I had no idea where his office was so I had no idea where to go. I don't feel like I should have been expected to look for him. In the past, the advisors had always walked to the waiting room and called my name and walked me back to the service area. I found this visit very impersonal and "not the norm" based on my past visits.

My vehicle was handle with care. Great communication with Service Advisor David, Montalvo who kept me informed with my vehicle's status throughout the repair process.

I called my service guy (Shangwei) multiple times and could never get ahold of him, still hasn’t sent me a receipt, showed up on Friday because he wouldn’t call me back and went ahead and paid. Get a call Saturday the truck was done but there one guy was to busy that they couldn’t test drive it and didn’t wash it while it was there, I asked shangwei if they could and he said yes it would be no problem. I’ve never had a service person never call me back during the whole time it was there. The main service people at the desk told me what was wrong with my truck not him.

Beverly Burnett was my sales person and she sold me a vehicle back in 2003 and then again in 2004. I was already familiar with her and when I was ready for another vehicle, I looked her up because I knew I could trust her. I knew what I wanted in a vehicle and had been looking for a couple of months. My search kept taking me to Platinum Chevrolet showing they had the truck that appeared to be what I wanted. I looked up the sales people there and saw that Beverly was one of them. So, I made arrangements to meet with her and see if I would really like the truck. And I did. This is my fourth new vehicle that I have bought from her. Most people don't like pushy sales people. I know that if you don't leave me alone, I will walk away and there goes a sale...Beverly is not pushy. She knew that I knew what I wanted. She showed me the features on the truck and we went for a test drive. I liked it and wanted it just the way it was. She went and got Rick Glover, the finance guy. While drawing up the contract, he mentioned an extended warranty. I told him that I've never bought an extended warranty before, but the only reason I would consider one now is because of all the electronics involved. He explained the different levels of the warranty I could purchase. He did not try and push one over the other. Once I signed the contract, Beverly asked me how I was going to get two vehicles home since I drove up in one and did not do a trade in. I said I haven't figured that out yet. So, she had my new one delivered to me within two hours. Basically, throughout the whole buying experience at Platinum Chevrolet, I did not feel like they were trying to make a sale for the business. I don't really know how to explain it. They treated me right, without any pressure. It's the way buying a vehicle should be and was many years ago. I would go back to this location and I will recommend Platinum Chevrolet to my friends and family.

I had my brake pads replaced on my '16 GMC Sierra in October. Cost: Almost $1000. The technician left the mounting bolts out of one of the calipers when it was replaced. A day later, I noticed a rattling noise and removed the tire to find this error. My truck was down for a day while I located new bolts and then installed them myself. I was also notified that my oil cooler lines were seeping oil. On 11/14/25, I had them replaced. Cost: $580. A day later, I noticed oil on my carport from the lines. I took it back and was advised that they were indeed tight and wouldn't be leaking. I have seen additional oil accumulated on my carport since. Right now, Platinum is batting 0 for 2. I am trying to give them chances to do a good job on my vehicle but I may start taking it to Freeman in Grapevine for future repairs as they have my full confidence.

Made appointment online. Still waited over an hour for service. What happened to 30 minutes or less? No free tire rotation with oil change anymore? It is still over $100 for oil and filter. OK Other than that, it was great!

Very professional

The service was the worst imaginable. I took my Silverado in for a suspension problem that was causing an annoying noise, and after waiting two months for a rental car, they returned it to me the next day with the same problem. They told me it was normal, which it wasn't, and my Silverado was still under warranty. But since it didn't generate any profit for them, they didn't fix my car. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone so they don't have to go through the same terrible experience I had.

I was like to about parts being available was told there was only two in the United States. Got the part that they needed and found it myself and had them go pick it up. That way I could have my vehicle back, then did not authorize them to drive my vehicle home overnight and they didwithout my permission

The pricing was confirmed upfront. How to use my GM points was explained. I was seen without an appointment. My vehicle’s repairs were completed in less than 45 minutes.

I brought in my 2004 Suburban that needed a lot of work. We discussed the possible issues up front and realized the repairs may far exceed the value of the service outcome. The tech did a thorough evaluation and gave me a great write up so I could make an informed decision. I decided not to do the work, paid for their time and took the vehicle home. My service advisor was very polite and discussed all of my options with me. He did a great job. Thanks.

The details were pretty much all worked out over the phone, the had the new Traverse ready when we got to the dealership. We literally test drove it, and signed the papers that were already ready. My car went into service on brand new 2025 traverse. Engine light was on, brakes were squeaking loud and electrical problems. They gave me a loaner which was a Silverado but didn’t fit my whole family. They said it was ready so picked it up and I didn’t even get home and engine light was back on. Took it back the following day they had to give me a loaner and it’s been there almost another week. It’s frustrating that I can’t depend on a new vehicle from Chevrolet. I’ve never hated a car as much as I do with this traverse having so many problems and paying as much as I do. On top of it taking forever to get fixed.
